Known from ancient times, small-dimension ceramics has now become an inciting subject for the 21st century viewer. Ceramic miniature surprises through the decoration-shape relationship, through the conveyed message, through the minuteness it is created.
The exhibition is a challenge for the Romanian ceramic artists. Highly imaginative, they demonstrate how rich and precious, yet, in the same time, monumental, can a small ceramic piece become. The sellection displays 30 artists whose ingenious works measure less than 15 cm in hight. Mica_Cera_Mica / Small_Cera_Mics is also an invitation addressed to passionate ceramic-art collectors.
