How do you mould, how can you get to creation? They say you have it inside. The artist calls it “the inner model”. And when his work overlaps the inner model, he stops. “If I had to name an ideal material for transfering my sculptures into, I think this would be the volcanic lava. My works seem often to erupt from such a place, and the lava would render them their real body. But as I haven’t it yet, I use in my works the materials I discover around: earth, wood, stone, paper, cast or laminated metal.”
