Though at the beginning of their career, they try to outline their identities, their very different ways of expression, taking into account the specificity of the ceramic material. The Inside – Out concept speaks about one's desire to discover, to uncover one's inner tumult. The personal inner structures are eviscerated and brought to light, and the result seems sometimes surprising, even for the creator. In each of us there is a universe, a world full of sensibility and vulnerability, yet full of strength, which the artist tries to unveil. But this world is partly kept inside, the work, the artistic expression, standing for artist's relationship with the outer world. The concept reveals the common fascination for the inside-outside dualism, for what is concealed and what emerges to the surface, between contents and shape."
