"Geometry show" 03.06 - 28.06.2021 Opening, 03.06.2021, 17.00

Galateea Contemporary Art Gallery is an art gallery of the Union of Visual Artists in Romania that aims to promote contemporary Romanian and international ceramic art. Between 03 and 28 June 2021, the group exhibition "Geometry show" is brought to the attention of the Bucharest public. Ceramic artists from different generations and schools participate in this event: Baia Mare, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Timișoara and Ploiești. Exploring geometry, ceramic artists superimpose two parts of visual grammar: geometric plasticity and the expressiveness of form. In sculptural ceramics, the artist is concerned with the relationship between geometric shape and its aesthetics and this relationship can also be seen as an exploration of the space around the object and its connection with form.
The artists participating in the exhibition "Geometry show" participate: Elena AMARIEI, Cristina BOLBOREA, Gheorghe CRĂCIUN, Judit CRĂCIUN, Carmen-Daniela IONIȚĂ, Gheorghe FĂRCAȘIU, Horia FĂRCAȘIU, Gloria GRATI, Lucia LOBONȚ, Liliana MARIN, Nicolae Andreiana-IOLD ST. STEPANOV, Noémi JANKÓ-SZÉP We have the honor to invite you to the opening of the exhibition, from June 3, 2021 at 1700, to discover a show of shapes and its geometric representations in contemporary Romanian ceramics.

The event is organized respecting all the norms in force on the date when it takes place.
