For nearly 10 years since the reopening of the Galateea Contemporary Art gallery, all curatorial programs have included, at the end or opening of the year, the exhibition of the group of artists who voluntarily support the gallery's activity.
In a pandemic year, which affected us all - including the public and cultural operators - artists sought individual solutions to adapt to the current situation. In these conditions of uncertainty, the ceramic artists wanted to exhibit some of the works made by them in the exhibition "Galateea Group". Some works result in their own research in this context, others were done in an intuitive way some time ago. The result of this individual "laboratory" materialized through the exhibition "Galateea Group" is signed by: Vlad BASARAB, Bianca BOEROIU, Cristina BOLBOREA, Adela BONAȚ, Gherghina COSTEA, Anca DRAGU, Lucia LOBONȚ, Romana MATEIAȘ, Nicolae MOLDOVAN, Aniela OVADIUC, Cristina and Iulian VÎRTOPENU. This year's exhibition has two guest ceramic artists: Maria CIOATĂ and David Leonid OLTEANU.
