I think tales are universal and touch people most deeply. This collection of visual tales stands for the intimate journal of Lucia Lobonţ’ imaginary and real travels; it gathers the emotional moods a human being for whom communication seems essential displays.
It’s an intimate journal of a young woman, who is very passionate of the things she experiences, sees and feels around her. A collection of tales aiming to achieve something easy to approach: to preserve in her memory important things, like beauty, joy, emotion, fragility, the force of the natural… I presume Lucia Lobonţ’ joy to narrate is real. For me it’s her joy to tell stories by means of the porcelain, a material not anyone can mould. The works of this artist are the known and unknown sheets of a universal fairy-tale book, of a visual book highlighting most common emotions. A book which, brought forward unconventionally, is displayed in a classic ceramic exhibition. Curator: Mónika Pădureţ |
