The famous international guest-artists invited during the autumn of 2013 approach ceramics as an art enjoying a complex plasticity, spatiality, texture and chromatics. A unity has been naturally imposed: a perfect equilibrium between grace and the formal audacity.
Ester Beck (IL), Daphné Corregan (FR), Maria Geszler-Garzuly (HU), Regina Heinz (UK), Michael Moore (IE), Heidi Preuss Grew (USA), Johanna Rytkölä (FI), Blazenka Stoic Stebih (HR), Roland Summer (AT) and Jindra Vikova (CZ) are members of the prestigious International Academy of Ceramicics (AIC), and Jacques Kaufmann (FR) is, since 2012, AIC’s president. Vasile Cercel, Titu Toncian, Simona Tănăsescu, Cristina Bolborea, Georgiana Cozma and Adela Bonaţ are six of the most important Romanian contemporary ceramists attending the event.
