The main purpose of the exhibition is to display and promote Romanian ceramics, by showing the directions of artistic expression the artists used in the 80s.
Cooperation with the National Museum of Contemporary Art and with other museums is a part of a project intending to present the beginnings of the Romanian modern school of ceramics, as well as the works of contemporary ceramics belonging to national patrimony. Important names of Romanian ceramic art – Costel Badea, Vasile Cercel, Daniela Făiniş, Tereza Bubă Panelli, Lucia Maftei, Dumitru Rădulescu, Cristina Popescu Russu, Mircea Spătaru – display works signed in the 80s and 90s.
