The installation “Stylite” revisits the figure of the vertical ascetic as a threshold-form of existence: a body withdrawn from the world, elevated on a column, suspended between earth and sky. Rather than depicting canonical saints, the work proposes a typology of chosen isolation—resistance through stillness and a corporeality eroded by time, belief, and matter.
